Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in the Progressive Care Unit, where you will play a critical role in providing high-level patient care. With a focus on neuro and trauma care, you will be involved in the management and monitoring of patients with complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neuro and spinal checks
• Manage C-Collar placement, TLSO braces, and feeding tubes
• Administer PCA pumps and IV infusions
• Perform blood transfusions and manage lumber drains
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient outcomes

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications
• Neuro and Trauma Care experience is required
• Preferred: Previous experience in Progressive Care or similar settings
