Registered Nurse - Emergency Department and Med Surg

Schedule

This position requires a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed each week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in both Emergency and Medical-Surgical nursing. The ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to work across departments as needed. Candidates should be prepared for potential daytime shifts as well.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical units.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to the medical team.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding care and treatment plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with hospital policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License in California.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC from approved vendors.
• Minimum of 24 months of recent Emergency Room experience.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Completion of Meal Waiver and Elder Abuse Forms.
