Interventional Radiology Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

5x8-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM, one night of call per week, and every seventh weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in specialized procedures within interventional radiology and will utilize advanced imaging techniques while collaborating with a dynamic team to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures according to established protocols.
• Maintain a sterile environment and manage equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Assist in catheter placements, angioplasties, and other interventional procedures.
• Document procedures in the EPIC system and manage medication administration using the Omnicell system.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1-year experience in Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures setting.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R) required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• State Radiology License (South Carolina).
• Proven experience in the EPIC documentation system.
