Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Schedule

Night shift, 7 PM - 7 AM, three 12-hour shifts (36 hours per week), including every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and be at the forefront of coordinating exceptional patient care for adult and pediatric patients. Your expertise will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care in a dynamic general Med/Surg unit. Collaborate with a talented group of professionals and lead them to meet the unique needs of our diverse patient population while utilizing the innovative Nursing Process for critical decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic and compassionate care to patients, addressing their physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs.
• Accountable to the Unit Director while working closely with the Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor during shifts.
• Coordinate care for adult and pediatric patients as needed, ensuring quality and continuity of care.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to make informed decisions regarding patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 3 years of acute care experience; preference for those with Meditech experience.
• Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Pediatric experience is not required, as this position is primarily for adult patients.
• Flu shot required; no exceptions.
