Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care in a Women’s Services unit, specifically focusing on Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Triage, Postpartum, and Nursery care. The facility supports a collaborative environment with an emphasis on high-quality patient care for both mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for patients during labor and delivery, including management of postpartum and nursery needs.
• Perform assessments, interventions, and care plans for patients in the Women’s Services unit.
• Manage and support the needs of the newborn, including routine care and monitoring.
• Utilize necessary equipment such as medication dispensers and fetal heart rate monitors.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in the Women’s Services unit.
• Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications required.
• Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring certification preferred.
• Experience with SVD, Cesarean sections, OB triage, and postpartum care.
