Part-time, 67.5 hours per pay period; PM Shift Every Other Weekend

Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position involves assessing residents, administering medications, and communicating changes in condition to physicians and family members. The LPN will report findings to the charge nurse and assist Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents while adhering to the 5 Rights.
• Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, and misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator.
• Notify the charge nurse of any resident condition changes.
• Assist CNAs with answering call lights and other duties as necessary.
• Update physicians and family members regarding changes in residents' conditions as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold and maintain a valid Wisconsin LPN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• 1+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are required.
