Night 3x12-Hour shifts (18:30 - 07:00), every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide critical care in a fast-paced environment, working with adult and geriatric patient populations. The therapist will be responsible for assessment, treatment, and management of patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions, ensuring the highest standards of care are met.

Responsibilities

• Provide adult critical care and emergency respiratory support.
• Administer therapies including intubation and extubation, as well as airway management techniques.
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and interpret results to inform treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize various respiratory equipment and therapies, including BiPAP and high-flow nasal cannula.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess current BLS, ACLS, and either RRT or CRT certification with an Oklahoma License.
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program (CoARC or CAAHP) with a minimum of 20 quarter hours of science.
• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
