Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in Med/Surg Telemetry. The ideal candidate will have recent permanent experience in this specialty and be prepared to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and interpret telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Active Ohio Registered Nurse license or Compact State license in hand at the time of submission.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Two professional references from a supervisor or manager in the specialty applying for.
