Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM); up to every other weekend coverage required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment, managing a patient ratio of 4:1.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care, assessing patient needs and ensuring proper treatment.
• Possess experience with diverse patient populations, including chronic illness, critical care, and emergency situations.
• Utilize Epic for charting and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
• Maintain a safe and effective environment for patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required.
• Previous experience in a STEMI and Stroke facility is preferred.
• Must pass a mandatory EKG exam as part of compliance.
• Ability to manage BiPAP/CPAP, central line care, and sedation monitoring is essential.
