Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) - 13 Week Contract

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30). Call required 2 times per schedule.

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic surgical team at a Level 2 Trauma Center. The candidate will be responsible for circulating and scrubbing a variety of surgical cases including orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro surgeries. Robotic and ENT experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room.
• Circulate and scrub various surgical cases.
• Assist with surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of current acute care operating room experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
• Documentation of scrub and circulate skills checklist is necessary.
• Experience with robotic surgery and a variety of specialties is essential.
