Job Description

The MedSurg/Tele Float Pool RN will provide care in multiple units, primarily 6N and 7N, while managing diverse patient populations. Nurses will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring safety and adherence to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and evaluations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and document care activities.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Float to various units as necessary while adhering to established patient care protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Cardiac rhythm experience; must pass a cardiac rhythm exam.
• Preferred experience in MedSurg and Telemetry care.
