Travel ICU RN Position

Schedule

Days, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM, floating required.

Job Description

The Travel ICU RN will provide total patient care in the ICU, including working with ventilators, titratable drips, and patient hygiene. The role involves floating to the ER and Med-Surg departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care to ICU patients.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Float to ER and Med-Surg departments based on staffing needs.
• Assist in answering call lights, passing medications, and starting IVs.
• Participate in a float rotation as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of ICU experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with ER and Med-Surg preferred.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• Experience with ventilators and titratable drips.
• Fingerprinting required for all travelers in New Mexico.
