7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, must work weekends and holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Observation Unit. The ideal candidate should possess strong nursing skills in monitoring and caring for patients requiring observation. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing care to adult patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to patients in observation status.
• Monitor vital signs and assist with medical procedures.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of medical/surgical nursing experience.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale Competency, and Tele/ECG Competency.
• Telemetry experience preferred.
