This is a 13-week contract position with an option to extend for 1 year.

Schedule

5 days per week, 8-hour shifts or 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans based on their needs and goals, in line with physician direction. This role involves delegating and guiding specific therapy services and ensuring effective treatment programs for community reintegration. The therapist plays a vital role in educating patients, families, students, and coworkers, while adhering to professional standards and organizational values.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop treatment plans and goals focused on progressing patients toward discharge.
• Document medical records accurately and timely.
• Participate in student programs and provide appropriate supervision.
• Engage in professional development and maintain licensure.
• Adhere to clinic guidelines and safety policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state license.
• Previous experience with agency assignments is highly desired.
