Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient Clinic

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Travel to the hospital one Saturday per month required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Travel Physical Therapist for an outpatient clinic setting. The ideal candidate will work with patients to reduce pain, improve mobility, and develop wellness programs aimed at preventing disability. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for examining individual patients and creating tailored treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to address patient needs.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare staff in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Educate patients on managing their conditions and improving overall health.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Inpatient and outpatient experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Current New Mexico state licensure is required; pending licensure may be accepted upon submission.
• Fingerprints are required for all travelers in New Mexico.
