Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (Sat/Sun)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on NICU Level III who is dedicated to providing high-quality care for neonates. The ideal candidate must possess a strong clinical background, particularly in the management of neonatal abstinence syndrome, and experience with various neonatal care practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer blood products and manage IVs.
• Perform medication management, including anti-seizure drugs and neonatal dosage calculations.
• Conduct cardiovascular monitoring and provide respiratory support for neonates, including those on ventilators.
• Support breastfeeding and manage enteral feedings and tube placements.
• Monitor glucose levels and administer insulin as necessary.
• Provide developmental care and education to patients and families.
• Adhere to infection control and isolation precautions.
• Participate in sepsis workup and overall neonatal care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU Level III.
• Active NJ or Compact RN license required at time of submission.
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP.
• Experience with neonatal care practices, including managing vents and intubated patients.
