Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient Clinic

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Days: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM; work at the hospital one Saturday per month.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist (PT) will provide outpatient therapy services, focusing on reducing pain and improving mobility. The PT will conduct evaluations, create treatment plans, and implement therapy interventions to help patients achieve their recovery goals. The role may also involve inpatient care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility and reducing pain.
• Educate patients on preventative measures and wellness strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pending New Mexico state licensure approved must be included with submission.
