Schedule

3x12 hour shifts; Saturday, Sunday, rotating weekdays, with no call required. Shift hours are 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Job Description

The CT Scan Technologist will produce diagnostic CT scans under the supervision of the CT Supervisor, assisting radiologists in diagnostic procedures while ensuring excellent patient care. The incumbent will coordinate workflow and assist with the throughput of ER, in-patients, and outpatients. The role includes quality control monitoring, maintaining certifications, and being proficient with CT imaging and contrast injection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic CT scans and assist radiologists during procedures.
• Ensure patient care and safety while performing imaging tasks.
• Coordinate daily workflow in the CT department.
• Administer IV contrast materials under the direction of a radiologist.
• Maintain records, monitor quality control, and ensure compliance with departmental policies.
• Handle a variety of CT imaging units and storage systems to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in radiology with trauma experience.
• Must hold American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
• State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography is required.
• AHA BLS certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
