Occupational Therapist

Schedule

Monday to Friday, primarily from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional weekend shifts for compensation days off during the week.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide rehabilitation services in a state-of-the-art, 60-bed inpatient rehab hospital. This facility is dedicated to helping individuals recover from severe injuries or illnesses. The OT will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy interventions to promote recovery and maximize functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy interventions to enhance patient recovery and promote functional independence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
• Document patient progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary in the electronic health record (EHR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Occupational Therapy license.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience.
• Experience with adult and older adult patient populations, particularly in neuro rehabilitation.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
