Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with weekend rotation required.

Job Description

The Emergency Department (ED) seeks a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position. The ideal candidate will provide advanced nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment, overseeing patient intake, assessment, and treatment protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and manage care plans.
• Perform procedures such as intubations, lac repairs, and suture removals.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately in EMR (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure.
• Must obtain TNCC and ENPC certifications by the start date.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
