Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Stemi Call approximately 10 to 12 days a month. Self-scheduling available.

Job Description

The Cath Lab RN will provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing catheterization procedures, including but not limited to TAVR, PFO closures, PCI, and IABP. The role requires expertise in advanced cardiac interventions and the use of high-tech equipment such as GE Innova and Impella devices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with medical staff and assist in various cardiac procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals during procedures.
• Participate in patient education regarding procedure processes and expected outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards in the Cath Lab.
• Utilize documentation systems (MacLab, Meditech) for patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Florida.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Significant experience in the Cath Lab, particularly with structural heart, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR.
• Advanced skills in cardiac procedures (PCI, PFO closures, DCCV).
