Computed Tomography Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to work in an acute hospital setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and the ability to perform a variety of CT imaging procedures independently, adhering to radiologist protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced CT scans as per protocols.
• Function independently without supervision, ensuring high-quality imaging.
• Utilize Meditech EMR and operate Canon/Toshiba CT equipment.
• Engage in procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and vascular/cardiac imaging.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
• Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Experience with venipuncture and advanced imaging techniques preferred.

Schedule

This position consists of 10-hour varied shifts. Shifts may vary by need, with no on-call requirements.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
