Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Oncology/Women's Surgical unit. As part of an award-winning healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This unit features a 24-bed capacity and a collaborative staff that includes Clinical Nurse Coordinators, Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Health Unit Coordinators.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to oncology and women surgical patients.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor patient progress and advocate for necessary changes in care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Support and educate patients and families regarding clinical processes and treatments.
• Participate in unit meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN License.
• BLS Certification.
• Chemo Certification preferred but not required.
