Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 6 on, 8 off, Wednesday through Monday

Job Description

This position, independently or in consultation with a physician, administers medications, performs various types of therapeutic modalities and diagnostic testing for the cardio-pulmonary system. The role involves responding to arrest and emergency situations while providing CPR and life support systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory care to evaluate and treat protocol evaluations.
• Delivers medications via aerosol and metered dose inhalers.
• Responds to all rapid responses, arrest, or STAT situations immediately, maintaining artificial airways, respiration, and cardiac compressions.
• Sets up and maintains all oxygen according to protocol.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ Years of RRT Experience - REQUIRED
• Previous Travel Work Experience - PREFERRED
• Active American Heart Association BLS - REQUIRED
• Active American Heart Association ACLS - REQUIRED
• Active American Heart Association PALS - REQUIRED
• Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification - REQUIRED
• Active RRT Certification through The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) - REQUIRED
• LARA must state Active Michigan/MI License - REQUIRED
