This is a contract position for 8 to 12 weeks.

Schedule

This position requires a night shift of 3x12 hours from 18:30 to 07:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality respiratory care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and must possess an active Ohio RRT license, along with current BLS and NBRC certifications at the time of submission.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medication as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status and respond appropriately to changes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and management.
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting in the electronic medical record system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current state licensure as an RRT in Ohio.
• Valid BLS certification and NBRC credential at the time of submission.
• Preferred experience in community hospital or LTAC settings.
