Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts, 4x12-hour (07:00 - 19:00), with flexibility for 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Cardiovascular Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. The RN will utilize a team nursing approach to provide optimal care to medical patients with an emphasis on cardiovascular disease. The nurse will work collaboratively with other healthcare providers and advocate for patients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients on a medical telemetry unit.
• Monitor telemetry patients and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Manage dysrhythmias and provide appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with health team members to deliver quality nursing care.
• Participate in patient education and support.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• WV or Compact RN license required; pending licenses accepted for submission.
• Telemetry experience and competency in interpreting dysrhythmias is essential.
