Seasonal Contract RN - Labor and Delivery

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. On-call requirements included and 4 weekend shifts scheduled.

Job Description

Join our Level 4 designation maternal center providing exceptional care to high-risk maternal patients in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will possess critical skills necessary to manage complex deliveries and be a valuable team player in our Labor and Delivery unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for high-risk maternal patients
• Assist in vaginal and cesarean section deliveries
• Perform triage and circulating duties in the operating room
• Handle tubal ligations, cerclage placements and removals, and D&C procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive patient experience

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license
• Experience with high-risk maternal patients and circulating in the operating room
• Preferred: Greater than 5 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
