Schedule

Day Shift: 4 x 10-hour shifts (07:00 AM - 05:00 PM). Takes call and rotates weekends with staff.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist performs specialized imaging procedures and assists in the planning and execution of interventional radiology procedures. The role requires a strong background in radiologic technology along with specific expertise in interventional practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain a sterile field during procedures and assist physicians as needed.
• Utilize advanced imaging technology to support procedures, including but not limited to angiography and catheter placement.
• Document all procedures and patient information accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Participate in call rotations and weekend coverage as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in Interventional Radiology; neuro experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid Florida license and ARRT-RBLS certification.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required.
• Experience with a wide range of interventional radiology procedures is essential.
