Seasonal Contract RN - Labor and Delivery

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends with no call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidates will possess a strong clinical background and be proficient in managing labor and delivery care, ensuring exceptional patient experiences. Our unit is equipped with advanced technologies and offers a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care during labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vitals using EFM and other technologies.
• Assist with procedures such as SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC.
• Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and unit policies.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a current RN license.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Competency in EFM, C-Section circulation, and SVE.
• Preferred: internal monitor placement competency; experience in a Level IV unit.
