Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide specialized care in Pediatric Cardiology, float as needed between multiple facilities, and ensure high-quality patient outcomes. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for pediatric patients, leveraging expertise in echocardiography and related techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D and 3D echocardiograms and other related diagnostic procedures.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, maintaining accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding cardiac health.
• Participate in outreach and educational initiatives as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in New Jersey or compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric Cardiology or related specialty.
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, and ACLS.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Neonatal and pediatric experience is required.
