Physical Therapist - Outpatient

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (08:30 AM - 06:30 PM), no call, weekends, or holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to provide outpatient care for adult patients with various diagnoses including orthopedic conditions, Parkinson's disease, stroke rehabilitation, multiple sclerosis, and gait/balance dysfunction. The therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for patients to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to assist patients in their rehabilitation and recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise programs and rehabilitation protocols.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records using EPIC charting system.
• Meet a patient caseload of at least 9 cases per day.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy.
• Active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with electronic health record systems, specifically EPIC.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including booster.
