Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide patient care in the Observation Unit, focusing on adult patients. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring and managing various conditions that meet observation criteria.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients under observation status.
• Monitor vital signs and patient conditions efficiently.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and health management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of med/surg experience.
• Active RN license in Michigan.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale Competency, Tele/ECG Competency.
• Preferred: TNCC, ENPC certifications.
