Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Schedule

Nights, 4x12-hour shifts (18:00 - 06:30), with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, addressing a variety of patient needs ranging from acute injuries to chronic diseases. The candidate must be adept at using the Epic charting system and familiar with a diverse patient demographic including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage critical care for patients in the Emergency Department.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Conduct assessments and triage patients according to urgency.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
• Perform technical skills including IV therapy, arterial line management, and blood product administration.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an Emergency Department.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.
• Previous charge experience is required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is essential.
• Travel experience is accepted, with first-time travelers welcome.
