Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse

Schedule

Days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) with rotating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a medical-surgical unit.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and record significant changes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice or pending state license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Med Surg nursing preferred.
