Outpatient Pediatric Occupational Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule (08:00 - 17:00). No weekends or floating required.

Job Description

The Outpatient Pediatric Occupational Therapist will provide evaluations, treatment plans, and therapy interventions for pediatric patients with various developmental diagnoses and delays. The role emphasizes working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and family education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations for pediatric patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy interventions focused on activities of daily living, sensory integration, and developmental skills.
• Educate patients and families about therapy objectives and safety measures.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric occupational therapy.
• Certifications required: BLS and NBCOT.
