Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care Leadership
Schedule
20 - 22 hours, varying shifts, every 3rd weekend and holiday. Work week is Monday through Sunday.

Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) in this role will provide critical leadership and support within the acute care setting. The RN will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care by adjusting staffing levels and functioning as a clinical and administrative resource for nursing staff during various shifts.
Responsibilities
- Respond to critical events and provide immediate leadership during situations such as code blue, code red, and code 100.
- Conduct appropriate follow-up, including staff education, documentation, and support for families and staff.
- Continuously evaluate staffing needs and make necessary adjustments to meet patient care requirements.
- Serve as a clinical consultant, offering advice and education to nursing staff.
- Assist staff with conflict resolution and mediation as necessary.
- Complete employee performance evaluations on time.
- Advocate for patients, families, and staff, intervening on their behalf as required.
- Support operations of other departments during non-operating hours.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- Required Licenses: Current RN registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- AHA ACLS certification required.
- Previous experience in a management or leadership role preferred.
- Three to four years of acute care experience preferred.
- Strong leadership attributes and decision-making skills.
