Travel Swing Bed Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Days, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with floating and call required. Call varies based on census.

Job Description

The Swing Bed Registered Nurse (RN) will provide general skilled nursing level of care in rehabilitation and medical/surgical settings. The role includes a variety of clinical responsibilities as required by patient needs and census levels. The nurse will float within their scope of practice and clinical competency as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing practices.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress and changes in condition.
• Assist with rehabilitation activities and medical surgical care as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required; 2+ years preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• All New Mexico travelers must complete the fingerprinting process.
