Physical Therapy Assistant

Schedule

This position requires a schedule of 40 hours per week on day shifts, with possible shifts including 07:00-15:30, 07:30-16:00, or 08:00-16:30. Call is required one weekend per month.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality patient care. As a key member of our therapy team, you will assist patients in their rehabilitation processes, following treatment plans set by the Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient evaluations and the implementation of appropriate therapy interventions.
• Help patients perform exercises and therapeutic techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and progress notes.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patients to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of California is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
