Day 4x12-Hour shifts (06:45 - 19:15) and (10:45 - 23:15) with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with expertise in respiratory services and critical care. The ideal candidate should be experienced in managing a variety of respiratory needs and providing care for patients, including adolescents and adults, in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical respiratory care, including bedside bronchoscopy.
• Administer and monitor high-flow oxygen and mechanical ventilation.
• Perform interventions such as extubation and tracheostomy care.
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and manage emergency situations.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services and rapid response teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid PA State License and have it in hand prior to start.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in critical care or similar roles.
• ACLS, CRT, RRT certifications preferred.
• Experience with a variety of respiratory equipment is required.
