Multispecialty Ultrasound/Echocardiogram Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30). On-call is required from 5 PM to 8 AM Monday to Friday and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday.

Job Description

The Multispecialty Ultrasound/Echocardiogram Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound and echocardiogram procedures, including but not limited to general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, obstetrics, breast ultrasound, transvaginal, vascular studies, and echocardiograms. The ideal candidate must have experience with adult echo, contrast echo, echo stress treadmill, and be a full body technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound and echocardiogram examinations.
• Assist in precepting and training of junior staff as needed.
• Accurately document patient examinations and maintain records in the designated charting system.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient conditions.
• Initiate safety protocols and ensure compliance with hospital policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in ultrasound and echocardiography.
• Must hold current certifications: BLS, ARDMS or ARDMS VT, CCI, or RDCS.
• Licensure: Valid state license is required and must be in hand at the time of application.
