Postpartum RN Position

Schedule

6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, with a total of 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed. This assignment is subject to potential cancellation by the facility for one shift.

Job Description

This is a nursing position focused on postpartum care. Candidates may be required to float to postpartum depending on patient census and staffing needs. Postpartum experience is required. Candidates must be flexible regarding locations, shifts, and departments to expedite the offer process.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for postpartum patients and newborns.
• Monitor patient conditions and provide education and support.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Assist in float assignments as necessary based on staffing and census.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of Labor and Delivery (LD) experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Valid Life Support certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI, including:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NRP
  • AFM
• Active nursing license to practice verified within the last 30 days.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
