Registered Nurse - ICU (Per Diem)

07:00 AM - 07:30 PM, including weekends.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the ICU is responsible for providing safe patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves direct patient care within the scope of nursing practice, guiding patient and family education, and overseeing other nursing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Assess and communicate changes in patient clinical conditions, including hemodynamic monitoring.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and the activities of other nursing personnel.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital or critical care setting.
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or attestation of vaccination/declination.
