Ultrasound Technologist - General and Vascular Competency

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist will perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, specializing in general, vascular, and OB studies. The ideal candidate will be competent to perform these exams independently and have a strong understanding of ultrasound and vascular competencies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound and vascular exams according to established protocols.
• Ensure high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic interpretation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Document findings and maintain accurate records of procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasound.
• Competency in General, Vascular, and OB studies.
• Preferred certifications: AB, OB, and VT; however, at least one registry is required.
