Orthopedic Technician

Schedule

This position requires availability for weekend call, with start times varying between 06:00 AM and 08:00 AM. On-call requirements may apply, and holiday shifts may also be required.

Job Description

The Orthopedic Technician plays a critical role in supporting orthopedic procedures and patient care, utilizing their expertise to assist in treatments and the management of orthopedic patients. This role necessitates a working knowledge of orthopedic procedures and the ability to perform various related tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assisting healthcare professionals in orthopedic procedures.
• Preparing and maintaining the orthopedic environment for surgical treatments.
• Providing direct patient care and supporting patient mobility.
• Adhering to safety and compliance regulations during patient care.
• Cleaning and maintaining orthopedic equipment and instruments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedics.
• Valid licensure and certification as required for the position.
• Completion of all necessary compliance checks and health screenings for onboarding.
