X-Ray Technician

Schedule

This position requires a schedule of Monday through Thursday, from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technician will play a vital role in performing imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and providing accurate results for diagnosis and treatment. This position is integral to the healthcare team and requires a professional capable of working in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform various radiographic procedures, including abdomen, extremities, and chest imaging.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
• Work effectively in collaboration with medical staff and provide support in additional imaging procedures.
• Document imaging procedures and maintain patient records accurately.
• Participate in the maintenance and troubleshooting of radiological equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification in Radiography.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ideally has experience with Epic charting system.
• State license required for practice in Oregon.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
