General Ultrasound Technician

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours, Monday to Thursday, 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM with holiday rotation.

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced General Ultrasound Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of ultrasound examinations in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating proficiency in abdominal Doppler imaging.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound examinations, particularly in the abdominal area.
• Deliver high-quality images and reports for patient diagnostics.
• Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technician.
• Certification: BLS and ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification required.
• Graduate from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Proficiency in abdominal Doppler imaging is a must.
• South Carolina ultrasound licensure is not required.
