This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule of 7 days on (7am - 6pm) followed by 7 days off.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist / CT Tech is responsible for performing radiographic CT examinations for diagnostic interpretation while adhering to principles of radiation protection. The role requires competency in imaging modalities and the ability to operate equipment while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic CT examinations on all body parts for diagnostic purposes.
• Maintain patient records and ensure quality assurance within the department.
• Transfer patients to and from radiology safely.
• Participate in the departmental quality assurance program and pursue continuing education.
• Assist with invasive procedures and maintain knowledge of these techniques.
• Consult with referring physicians to clarify examination protocols.
• Follow standard precautions and adjust procedures for pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients as needed.
• Assume departmental responsibilities in the absence of a supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the department.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ARRT certification in CT is required.
• Experience in performing all diagnostic exams related to the assigned modality.
