Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist with a specialty in Pediatric Intensive Care to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience, specifically in PEDS, PICU, and NICU settings. This position requires comprehensive knowledge in advanced respiratory therapy techniques, along with necessary certifications.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions for pediatric patients in high-level care settings.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in the NICU, PICU, and CVICU to provide high-quality patient care.
• Monitor and assess patient responses to therapy; adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory care and rehabilitation practices.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and charts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Ohio RRT license.
• NBRC certification.
• BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of two years experience in PEDS, PICU, and NICU settings with high-level care (level 4).
• Experience with charting systems relevant to respiratory therapy practices.
