Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Will work 4x10 hour Day Shifts (07:00 - 17:30), but the schedule may vary as the team stays until all procedures are complete.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrophysiology procedures and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrophysiology procedures, including cardiac ablations and device insertions.
• Monitor and manage procedural sedation, including the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Obtain 12-lead EKGs and monitor activated clotting time (ACT).
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout various procedures.
• Assist in the training and supervision of other staff members in the EP lab.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an electrophysiology lab.
• Current South Carolina RN license or multi-state/compact RN license.
• National certifications: BLS and ACLS.
• Experience with activated clotting time, cardioversion, and the management of dysrhythmias.
