Job Description

The Emergency Room RN will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing critical thinking skills and adhering to all state regulations and hospital policies. The RN will demonstrate leadership skills and ensure the safe delivery of care to patients in the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessments of patients in the Emergency Department.
• Administer medications and monitor side effects.
• Document patient care accurately and effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Nursing.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required.
• NRP certification preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of New Mexico.
